GAZ  GOLD (GGA)  ADJUSTABLE  SUSPENSION KIT 


GAZ GOLD  (GGA) height adjustable suspension kits are a premium range of suspension
units designed for tarmac motorsport and the serious track day enthusiast. Unlike the normal
GAZ  coilover kit this kit features struts with base adjustment for rebound and bump combined.
This is unlike most top adjustable struts that have a rebound only adjustment. Front struts use
a larger piston and rod than the standard GHA coilover and feature uprated internals as well.

forged in motorsport experience and success especially in World Touring Cars. Converting your car’s suspension to coilover
gives you the ability to adjust and fine tune your car’s height and damping stiffness to improve its handling performance.

In fact the ability to have a car which can perform at a track day and then be set up for touring use is one reason why

The main features of these kits are:

  ®       On-car damping adjustment.
 ®       30x +Q- continuously adjustable.
 ®       Shortened body and stroke lengths to allow for 25mm up to 80mm lowering.
 ®       Front and rear units adjust bump and rebound from a single control knob on the side of the unit.
 ®       Struts and semi struts have 62mm bodies for increased oil capacity. These units are fitted with
          22mm diameter induction hardened piston rods that are hard chrome plated for strength and durability.
 ®       All units have multi lip sealing. The outer seal is a metal encased wiper to clean the piston rod. This in
          turn extends main seal performance and oil retention under extreme conditions.
 ®       All the Gold range are fitted with a gas cell in the outer reservoir and filled with a high viscosity index.
          multi grade oil to prevent cavitation and reduce fade in motor racing conditions.
 ®       The coilovers and telescopic units in this range utilise lightweight billet alloy components where possible,
          i.e. bases, end fittings, seats, lockrings, rod guides and gland nuts. The outer tube is steel with a nickel
          coating to provide the best anti corrosive finish possible. All outer alloy components are anodised.

®       The units have coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and to
           minimise corrosion the unit is nickel plated.
®       Units are built by hand, to order, using the very best race proven components available.

®       Spring rates can be altered on request to suit customers’ requirements.
®       A full range of springs are stocked at the factory for road and motorsport use. 
 ®       Where a coilover cannot be installed a separate damper and rear coil spring with
           a variable spring platform is used so that the kit retains full height adjustment.
®        All kits are covered by GAZ shock’s 2 year warranty.
®        All GAZ units are fully serviceable.

Additional Notes:
1. Original equipment donor units are required.
2. Original equipment front struts are required forrebuild to height adjustable front struts.
3. Telescopic rears not coilovers, rear height adjustment achieved by lowered springs only (supplied). 
4. Telescopic rears not coilovers, rear height adjustment possible using original equipment
    torsion bars. Specialist knowledge required.
5. Original Equipment configuration is a separatespring/damper installation.
    GHA andGGA provide a coilover damper which requires the installation of a rear strut brace.
6. Full rear conversion kit available. Vehicle rear turrets require professional installation.
7. Telescopic rears not coilovers, rear height adjustment achieved by lowered springs and
    GAZ adjustable spring pans (supplied).
8. Front height adjustment is achieved by using asupplied threaded external tube and 65mm
    id coil springs fitted to original struts.
9. Kits are also available with Roller bearing top mounts, shortened damper bodies etc.

Note: These kits can obtain much lower ride heights for show purposes only but the vehicle
should not be driven at these levels as the steering and drive shaft joints can lock out!
